Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) is a government institute, established in the year 1984. The Institute is authorized by AMBA & AACSB. IIM Lucknow has been placed amongst the top ranked management institutes for several years in a row. IIM Lucknow Admission is strictly entrance based, with candidates selected from the national level entrance examination CAT followed by counselling, interviews and group discussions.
IIM Lucknow is the 4th IIM to be established by the Government of India in 1984. IIM Lucknow mentors the newly established IIM Jammu, IIM Rohtak and IIM Kashipur. IIM Lucknow Scholarship
IIM Lucknow extends help to the impoverished and meriting students to confirm that no-one is empty education. The following are some of the scholarships and financial support provided:
- Need based IIML Scholarships- Any student whose annual gross family (self, parents, spouse) income is less than four LPA is eligible to avail this necessity based Scholarship. The prospective students are chosen for a specific amount for1 year at a time.
- Fellow Program Scholarships- Scholarships are also provided to the students who wish to do Ph.D. and gain further exposure to the relevant field.
- Fellowship Grant- All resident Indian students admitted to the program are given fellowship allowance up to four and a half years with a regular payment of Rs. 35,000
- Contingency Grant- All resident Indian students admitted to the program are given an allowance of INR 10000 up to four and a half years.
- Miscellaneous financial backing- – The annual membership fee (scholar/ student rates) of just one national and just one international skilled society throughout III and IV year is reimbursed.
- The Institute jointly provides further facilities for married FPM students who have an annual family income of less than INR 4LPA.
